Introduction to Agility

Curious about agility but not sure where to start?

Our Introduction to Agility course is the ideal first step.

This four-week course is suitable for dogs of all ages, breeds and abilities, offering a broad and balanced introduction to the sport. You’ll explore the foundations of agility, build confidence, and gain a clear understanding of what training involves.

Each week is supported by a follow-up email with helpful explanations, key facts about agility, and a summary of what you’ve covered, helping you reinforce your learning between sessions.

Whether you’re just exploring something new or considering agility as a future sport, this course gives you everything you need to decide if it’s right for you and your dog. 

Bitesize Agility

Bitesize agility is a great approach for dogs and their owners who are new to agility or want to learn specific skills in a more structured way. This training method breaks down agility courses into smaller blocks, focusing on individual obstacles like tunnels, jumps, and contacts. 

By mastering each skill separately, dogs can build a solid foundation and gain confidence before moving on to more complex combinations.

Our Bitesize Class is taught by Experienced Instructors, and allows for a more personalised training experience, as each dog is trained in a way to suit it's individual needs and pace. This approach can be particularly beneficial for dogs who may be nervous or anxious around new equipment, or those wanting to work on a specific part of training equipment.

Beyond Bitesize

Beyond Bitesize is the perfect next step for handlers who have mastered all the Bitesize Agility blocks and are ready to bridge the gap btween foundation training and full competition. This class moves away from isolated equipment practice and focuses on putting the pieces together, teaching you how to navigate more complex sequences with speed, precision and confidence.

Our experienced Instructors will guide you through the strategies needed to successfully run a full course, perfecting your timing, positioning, cues, how to read lines, distance control and perfecting those crosses.

Competition Agility

Our competition agility class is designed for dogs and handlers who are ready to take their agility skills to the next level. Whether you're aiming to compete in local competitions or national events, this class will help you build the necessary skills, and communication needed for success. We focus on improving handling techniques, mastering obstacle performance, and perfecting your teamwork to ensure you're ready ring ready.
