Taught by experienced Instructors, your dog will learn a variety of exercises, including basic commands, recall, loose lead walking, as well as socialisation skills and working around distractions like food and other dogs.
With a focus on positive reinforcement, we ensure that training is enjoyable and rewarding, setting the stage for a well-behaved, happy dog. Whether you're starting with a puppy or refining an older dog’s skills, our Good Citizens Classes provide the perfect foundation for a lifelong partnership.
Competitive Obedience
Competitive obedience classes are designed to train both dogs and their handlers in the essential skills needed for success in obedience competitions. These classes typically cover a range of exercises, including heeling, sit, stay, recall, and more advanced tasks such as retrieving, distance control and scent.
Led by experienced Instructors, the classes focus on building a solid foundation of commands, improving the dog’s focus, and enhancing the handler’s ability to communicate effectively. This structured training environment allows participants to practice in a supportive setting, making it ideal for both beginners and those already competing.
Rally Obedience
Rally classes turn modern, reward based training into a fun and fast paced game that you and your dog will love working on together. Think of it as an interactive obstacle course, where you work as a team to navigate a series of numbered signs with exercises to perform.
Led by Qualified Instructors, the classes focus on building on your foundations, increasing your dogs focus, learning what each sign means, and polishing up behaviours. This is a fantastic sport that is open to all breeds and experience levels AND is fully accessible!
Hoopers
An exciting, low impact, agility style sport. Perfect for dogs of all ages and fitness levels, including puppies and older dogs. I also fully inclusive and accessible for the humans too! Hoopers uses smooth, flowing courses made of hoops, barrels and tunnels. It's fantastic fun, easy on the joints, and brilliant for building distance control and off lead focus.
Seasonal Workshops and Masterclasses
Throughout the year, we run specialised, seasonal workshops designed to channel your dog's natural instincts and the opportunity to try something new:
Mantrailing and Scentwork: Teach your dog to hunt out specific scents or track down a "missing person" using their incredible nose. It's the ultimate brain workout, and an amazing confidence builder for all dogs!
