Established in 1952, Newton Heath Dog Training Club (NHDTC) in Failsworth is a welcoming Royal Kennel Club registered community Dog Training Club dedicated to helping you and your dog train to the highest level. Covering all of the Greater Manchester area, including Bury, Rochdale, Middleton, Failsworth and Oldham.
Our classes are led by experienced, passionate volunteer trainers, who boast an exceptionally broad range of credentials. We are proud to have Royal Kennel Club trainers and assessors, IMDT Learning, Motivation and Reinforcement specialists, and certified instructors in Hoopers, Puppy Socialisation, Foundation Skills, Clicker Training, Canine Nutrition, Mantrailing, Scentwork and Canine First Aid, our team is fully equipped to help you and your dog thrive!

For Puppies: Simply fill out our contact form and we will be in touch regarding our next intake dates. No assessment is required for our puppy intake.
For All Other Classes: To ensure the safety of all our dogs and handlers, and to find the best group for your dog, all other enquiries begin with a short Initial Assessment. This is a great chance for us to meet you and your dog 1-to-1 and ensure we have you in the right class from day one.
Once we receive your contact form, one of our team will be in touch to book a time for you to visit the club. We aim to respond to all enquiries within 48 hours.
